About Our Operations

A Ship Chandler Focused on African Port Calls

Ship Chandler Africa serves the purchasing and operational requirements of commercial vessels calling at ports throughout the African continent. We work with ship owners, ship managers, operators, superintendents, purchasing departments and vessel crews requiring dependable marine supplies during port calls.

Our role is to coordinate the supply process from RFQ review through port delivery. Vessel requirements may include food provisions, bonded stores, deck consumables, engine stores, electrical materials, cabin items, safety products, marine chemicals, lubricants, tools, spare parts and specialized technical equipment.

Every port call is different. Vessel ETA, berth or anchorage conditions, local port procedures, product availability and delivery requirements can vary considerably between locations. For this reason, each requisition is reviewed according to the actual vessel and destination port.

Ship Chandler Africa is designed around one clear objective: making it easier for maritime purchasing teams to source and coordinate vessel requirements across multiple African ports through one dedicated marine supply contact point.
